New World,
Modern Wisdom

... and The Lotus Organization

The master teachers of the ages have shown that the suffering of our planet is not an ultimate necessity. The masters taught a path to freedom in ways that would be understood by each age, generation and culture. The essential message has never changed, but the way each newer generation learns is somewhat different and necessitates a different style. This is an exciting age when, for the first time the super-teachings of Masters are being revealed in the West, just for us!

This knowledge is of unfathomable value because it explains how the world was created with its happiness and suffering, and how to undo misperceptions about the world that keep us from our enlightened nature!

Regardless of the age you are in, these profound teachings are presented to people with special capabilities, "those with ears to hear". This makes the teachings hidden, esoteric, to people who think in a conventional way.

The Christ, the Buddha and the original Taoist Masters tell us that the way people think is largely incorrect and that this in itself causes an ongoing line of suffering. They said, "The way people generally think is incorrect: It's not the way you think it is", "This illusion, of who you think you are and what you need, causes great suffering," and, "Regular life doesn't liberate: the way of freedom is rare and unfathomably profound." They also showed clearly why it need not be that way. There is a path of freedom available to everyone who will enter it.

The Masters taught the path of freedom in many skillful ways in order to fill us in on the missing parts of our lives.

It is my intention to go back to the original spiritual teachings of actual fulfillment and share them to all who wish to know. All the teachings of the Buddha, Christ and Tao are a waste, just religion, without realizing their intent and purpose; that is to end the confusion and reveal the truth. If you see yourself as a spiritually oriented person, it might be in your best interest to digest the above statements. You may think it over something like this: "Is the way that I'm approaching my life right now a part of the liberating, or am I going nowhere? Somehow I sense there is a better way."

From there, you may consider undertaking the process of liberating your mind and helping others in this very life. We are fortunate to be born in a time when the original teachings are being re-revealed from their hiding, when our world allows an opening, a possibility.

The Lotus Organization is a dissemination of "the inconceivable mudra.' That means we cannot prove to you in this essay what is possible for you or if our teachings are good for you. But we can say what our goal is and a bit of how we are working together to reach it.

We are dedicated to supporting the true spiritual seeker, the "seek and ye shall find" type of individual, regardless of their persuasion. Evidence of a true seeker is one who is willing to look deeply (again and again) into their own mind and let go of layers of obstructing illusions. We live in the world like most people, (except when on retreat), we don't dress or act different. Nevertheless, we are the new yogis, we are the unknown monks and nuns of a hidden lineage.

The process of learning requires teachers. The teachers in this organization have many years of experience in helping students clear glamours, mundane and "spiritual." Teachers exist in part because when someone is "ready to go", they attract a counterpart to show them how to take the steps they need to take. This style of teacher-student learning is the key to getting on a fast and true spiritual path and it is extremely rare to find it in a quality form. It is not a good idea to try to explain further, but if you can relate to this in some way, that shows that you may have the good karma from past activities to engage in this way.

New approaches to the sacred yogic practices categorized as "the smaller vehicle", the greater vehicle and the outer and inner tantras, are useful to think of as layers of spiritual stages. The stages of the path are presented to students as they are ready and can show their understanding both verbally and in their life's expression. There are transformation techniques that show quickly if the students progress is happening or is simply an illusion.

I happen to be able to know the quality of people's minds, but please don't think that I am a psychic. Years ago, I observed the deity practice of a long-time Vajrayana student and saw instantly that she needed major corrections in her practice. It shocked me deeply to think that this intelligent psychologist had been practicing incorrectly for ten years. I thought about all the doubt that that would cause, by working so hard and getting so little.

I want to help those who want correction and alignment on their path. A teacher has and overview and exceptional awareness that cut's through to what is needed. I want to let people know that I have helped scores of people in this way, as has Robin Bello. Spiritual aspirants of today are really mostly fakes though. They want to design their own spiritual path, and never really want go deep into their dysfunctions.

It is not necessary to wait, hope or fear about your path. If you are sincere, regardless of your style or background, in an orientation session I will be able to see what you are doing and I will share from direct experience and meditative insight as to the correctness of your path at this time. In our school, students are taught on an group and individual basis in much the same way in which a martial arts instructor would correct the form of your punch. All you need is commitment to practice, learning and benefiting others. If you have that, then anything is possible and we can do much together.

The new practices include transformation techniques, traditionally called the inner and outer tantras in the early translation school of Tibet, some of the most advanced psychological knowledge known to man. But we will use plain English to discuss most everything and will do our practices and empowerments somewhat externally differently. In the words of the Patrul Rinpoche:

"The profound path is revealed in the words of the common man.

This is the sublime method of the Bodhisattvas."

In a true advanced school, the teacher sometimes gives inconceiveable empowerments in order to connect each given practice or energy work session to actual understanding...a level of awareness or clarity. Empowerments are very profound activities that we need not discuss here, but just know that they are a key in the accelerated esoteric lineage. I assume that you have heard of many types of "empowerments" or "shakti", etc. It is extremely rare to have actual true empowerment.

This may sound impressive but you should know that there is nothing fancy here to cling to. We don't typically wear ceremonial costumes or dress up much. Our center is quite simple. We don't have have diploma's from universities or external lineages. By just acting normal, that gets rid of all the people attracted by the glamour of symbolic clothes, sophisticated spiritual talk and external "spiritual" credentials.

On that topic, its quite commercial to wear robes, since people are impressed by them and they make the wearer seem more legitimate. The modern science-believing world is a good place to take off the fancy externals and talk turkey. We are willing to take some of the outer ceremony away and make people think for themselves. We have been inspired to unfold the essential spiritual teachings in a unique, culture-transcending way. At the same time, we hold clearly to the inner meaning of the teachings of Buddha, Christ and Tao which remain ever true. We are what we are. Most of today's true modern monks blend right in with all the other people. You may have seen us.

All languages are just combinations of phonetic sounds and symbols, and even the ideas they represent are impermanent. This applies not only languages like English, French and Cantonese, but to the "sacred" languages of Tibetan, Sanskrit, Pali or Sensa. We do use many of the Sanskrit or Tibetan words when needed, especially relating to the advanced teachings, but we don't need to get caught up in the words. I believe that the spiritual liberation teachings need to be committed to clear common English. We do need a bunch of new words or borrowed words, with notes connecting them to the key Tibetan or Sanskrit terms for now. There are fabulous translations of the teachings that have come out in the the last few decades and we want people to read and understand them. The old languages hold the nomen, the "elemental practitioner energy" of thousands of initiates and enlightened master yogis of the buddha's way. Right now, as you read this page, the Eastern texts called sutra, tantra, and shastra are being translated and explained in Western language, and equally importantly, they tend to be getting better so that this important information goes into our minds much easier and we can get right to the meaning.

There is so much potential because you have "buddha nature." But you will need help to find, commit and stabilize in the way of compassion.

Best Wishes on your path...
